This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful projects, such as:

  • Website Development: Designing and implementing a new, responsive, and user-friendly website.
  • Data Analytics & Sales League Tables: Developing tools to analyse data and create insightful sales league tables that drive performance.
  • Innovative Solutions: Driving technical advancements in the estate agency sector.

 

You will immerse yourself in modern development practices, sharpen your coding skills, and work with cutting-edge tools in a supportive, collaborative environment

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Website Development: Collaborate on front-end and back-end development for a seamless user experience.
  • Data Analytics & Sales Tools: Build systems to analyse data and create impactful sales league tables to support business goals.
  • Software Testing & Debugging: Learn to test and debug software to ensure quality and performance.
  • Learning to Work with AI: Develop skills to utilise AI technologies in software development processes.
  • Agile Development: Participate in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver projects efficiently.

 

What You’ll Learn:

 

  • Modern web frameworks, including JavaScript for front-end development and PHP for back-end systems.
  • How to integrate Python into the business as they adopt AI-driven solutions.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Working with data analytics and sales optimisation tools.
  • Collaborative development practices in a professional environment.

 

Qualifications:

Essential:

 

  • Passion for technology and software development.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Python (or a willingness to learn).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Experience with web development or coding (e.g., personal projects, coursework).
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Basic understanding of databases or web APIs.
  • Interest in the real estate or technology industries.

Training

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Software Development Technician Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn and develop a vast range of skills, covering a range of topics, including:

  • Programming fundamentals
  • Software testing
  • Web development

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded software developer. You will learn in detail about debugging techniques, version control systems, database management & much more.

Progression
