The Centre for Modelling and Simulation (CFMS) is a growing, independent digital engineering research organisation providing technical expertise to help organisations create cutting edge solutions by pioneering new approaches to product development and enabling innovation services.

Working with commercial and research organisations of all sizes, CFMS has an exciting portfolio of digital innovation capabilities, including design and analysis services, consultancy, and IT infrastructure, CFMS uses digital innovation across the cyber-physical landscape (including a new robotics capability) to help develop more effective engineering solutions across industrial sectors critical to the UK economy.

Multi Channel Marketer Training

 

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as:

Brand management
Content creation, SEO and utilising AI
Online and offline marketing, including Google Ads certification

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Multi Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider, and also hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about:

Principles of Marketing
Social media
Brand management
Creating content
Evaluating and reviewing campaigns
Paid media (PPC) and much more

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Working from a big, modern office space in Bristol & Bath Science Park, you will be mentored and trained by the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure the smooth running of the business.

The Marketing Apprentice will be passionate about all functions of communications and marketing and will help support the delivery of effective communications and marketing activities. You will assist with developing digital marketing campaigns, updating their social media and website.

You will assist the Digital Marketing Executive with various tasks, such as conducting market research, creating marketing materials, managing social media accounts, supporting campaign development, analysing data, and supporting the execution of marketing initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in the field and learn about different marketing channels and strategies. You will have strong communication, creative thinking, and analytical skills.

You will also support the wider operations team, providing administrative support.

You will learn and become proficient in:

 

Marketing

  • Producing marketing materials to be used by the company
  •  Conducting market and competitor research, presenting opportunities and risks
  •  Maintaining and updating the company website using the content management platform (WordPress) to ensure that all content is relevant and accurate
  •  Manage company social media channels, building the social media content schedule, creating captivating content relevant to the target audience(s), maximising reach, engagement and traffic
  •  Support with the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns and quarterly newsletters using the Mailchimp email system, including content research, design, testing and deployment through to reporting
  •  Managing internal content library, ensuring new content is available for staff to use
  •  Conducting research about trends in technology/engineering and B2B marketing

Administration

  •  To work across the operations team, supporting as and when required
  •  To provide general clerical/admin support across the teams
  •  To undertake routine administrative tasks
  •  Administer procurement of office consumables/stationery
  •  Operate under the guidance of all policies and procedures and promote an environment of continuous improvement
