So Frankie, could you please start by introducing yourself?
My name is Frankie, and I’ve been working at Elite Staffing Solutions in Taunton, Somerset for just under a year. Elite Staffing Solutions is a specialist recruitment agency that provides tailored recruitment services to organisations across the Southwest.
I work as a Recruitment Resourcer, sourcing and engaging candidates for a variety of roles across both the commercial and accountancy desks. I really enjoy the fast-paced nature of the role and the opportunity to connect with people on a daily basis.
I’m currently completing my Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification, which is helping me to further develop my communication and service skills in a professional setting.
You began your Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship with Elite Staffing Solutions LTD, how have you found your experience so far?
I really enjoy the fast-paced nature of recruitment – no two days are ever the same. There’s always something new to work on, whether it’s a different type of role or chatting with someone from a completely different background. I love the variety and the chance to connect with so many different people every day.
Since starting at Elite Staffing Solutions just under a year ago, I’ve learned so much and grown in confidence. It’s such a supportive place to work – the team is amazing, and the culture here is genuinely fun, positive, and encouraging. I feel really lucky to be part of it.
Recruitment is definitely the right fit for me. I love being busy, helping people find the right roles, and being part of a process that can really change lives. I’m excited to keep learning and developing as I grow in my career.
How did your tutor support you through your apprenticeship?
Claire has been nothing but supportive, engaging, and enthusiastic from the very beginning of my course right through to the end. She’s always been available to answer my questions and help me with my assignments, no matter how big or small.
Our tutorials have been fun, interactive, and enjoyable. I’ve learned so much from her that has really helped with my professional development. Claire is kind, caring, and always provides helpful, constructive feedback. It’s clear that she truly wants to see her apprentices succeed, and I’m so grateful for all her support and encouragement throughout my course.
What has been a highlight in your apprenticeship so far?
The highlights of my apprenticeship have been getting real, hands-on experience and seeing how recruitment works day-to-day. I’ve enjoyed being part of the process and learning about different roles and industries. It’s been great to take what I learn in my course and put it into practice straight away.
What would you say to anyone considering an Apprenticeship?
If anyone is considering doing an apprenticeship, I’d honestly really recommend it. It’s such a great way to learn while gaining real, hands-on experience in the workplace. You get to build your skills, grow in confidence, and earn a qualification at the same time.
I’ve learned so much during my apprenticeship – not just from the course itself, but from being in a real work environment with a supportive team around me. It’s helped me develop both professionally and personally, and I’m so glad I chose to do this.
How would you recommend your experience doing an Apprenticeship with Pro Apprenticeships?
If you’re thinking about doing a professional apprenticeship, I’d definitely say go for it. It’s a great way to learn on the job while working towards a proper qualification. You get real experience, which makes a big difference, and you’re not just stuck in a classroom all day. If all tutors are like Claire, then professional apprenticeships are definitely something to be excited about. Having someone who’s supportive, kind, and really takes the time to help you makes a huge difference.
