Events Assistant – Level 3

Introduction

This course will cover the range of different aspects of event management, from planning, execution to evaluation. The apprenticeship will cover a range of skills required including time management and dealing with stakeholders and practical skills like scheduling, resourcing, budgeting & event marketing.

Who is this apprenticeship right for?

Events organisers who regularly are involved in arranging a variety of events in different locations. Event assistants might contribute or lead on the event management and productions, either in house or with an external consultancy. You should have (or be willing to work to gain) English and Maths at G.C.S.E at grade 4 or above or functional level 2.

Employer Contribution

£450 for non-levy employers (Non-Levy contribution applies to employers with an annual wage bill of under £3m and enrolling apprentices that are aged 22 and above upon apprenticeship start date)

How will this be delivered?

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning, online training sessions or face to face sessions. You will build a portfolio of work you have created to evidence your skills. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.
