Introduction
This apprenticeship develops professional content creators who can confidently use AI tools to plan, create, manage and evaluate content across digital channels.
Built on the Content Creator Level 3 standard, the programme focuses on real workplace output, combining creative skills with practical AI applications such as AI-assisted copywriting, design, video, analytics and content optimisation.
Apprentices learn how to use AI responsibly and effectively, while maintaining brand voice, accuracy, ethics and commercial awareness.

- Planning and developing content in line with briefs, brand guidelines and budgets
- Using AI tools to support ideation, research and content planning
- Creating written content for blogs, websites, email and social media
- Producing visual and video content using AI-assisted design and editing tools
- Repurposing content across multiple platforms and channels
- Managing content using CMS and social media scheduling tools
- xUnderstanding ethical, legal and data considerations when using AI
- Building a professional portfolio of AI-enabled content campaigns
Who is this apprenticeship right for?
This apprenticeship is suitable for:
- Individuals starting a career in content creation, marketing or digital roles
- Existing employees who create content as part of their role
- Businesses looking to build in-house content capability using modern AI tools
No prior AI experience is required. Apprentices will be supported from foundational skills through to advanced application in the workplace
Employer Contribution
£300 for non-levy employers (Non-Levy contribution applies to employers with an annual wage bill of under £3m and enrolling apprentices that are aged 22 and above upon apprenticeship start date).
How will this be delivered?
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning to perform the duties of a AI Content Creator Apprentice and achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviour required for the role. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.
