So Ella, could you please start by introducing yourself?
Hi, I’m Ella, I’m 21 years old and from Gloucestershire. I have recently passed my Level 3 digital marketing course with a Distinction.
I work at Aurora Dental & Implants Clinics. We’re a group of award-winning private dental clinics in Wiltshire, specialising in dental implants, cosmetic treatments and general dental care. I play a vital role in driving the practice’s online presence and promoting its services across multiple platforms. My responsibilities involve creating engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and blogs, ensuring all materials align with the brand’s tone and values. I manage social media accounts, producing posts, reels, and stories to maintain a consistent and appealing online presence.
In my spare time I enjoy photography, spending time with horses, and getting outdoors for hikes and long walks. I also love all things beauty, especially BIAB nails, and most importantly I really value spending quality time with my family, friends, and my Labrador, Arlo.
You began a Digital Marketer Apprenticeship at Aurora Dental Clinic, how was the first 3 months?
The first three months at Aurora were amazing and it still feels that way now!
From the very beginning, it was really hands-on, and I was trusted with a lot of responsibility straight away. That’s helped me to quickly broaden my knowledge and skills. Settling in was really easy, as the team were so welcoming and supportive, I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. During those first few months, I gained valuable hands-on experience and had the opportunity to work closely with the clinic teams, which was such a great way to learn.
As a 2 person marketing team, my manager and I work very closely which allows for continued support and communication throughout all campaigns. We also have a lot of fun and ensure our marketing is time-relevant and modern.
How did your tutor support you throughout your Apprenticeship?
My tutor, Yasin, was absolutely faultless throughout my apprenticeship.
I always felt like a valued student, and his support really helped me grow into the digital marketer I am today. No question ever felt too small or silly to ask, Yasin always listened and guided me through whatever situation I faced. His encouragement and guidance made a huge difference, and I honestly can’t thank him enough.
You completed your apprenticeship at Aurora Dental Clinic – What’s next?
Since completing my apprenticeship, I’m really excited about what the future holds. I’d love to continue developing my skills and eventually specialise in an area like social media, as it’s something I’m really passionate about. My long-term goal is to become self-employed, offering freelance social media marketing support to local businesses, while also pursuing my other passions, such as BIAB nails.
What would you say to anyone considering an Apprenticeship and using Pro Apprenticeships?
I would 100% recommend an apprenticeship with Pro Apprenticeships. It’s such a valuable way to gain real hands-on experience while learning, and you’re supported every step of the way. You’re able to build your skills, grow your confidence, and work towards a career you’re genuinely passionate about. For me, it was the best decision I could have made.
