So Grace, could you please start by introducing yourself?
Hello, my name’s Grace. I started my apprenticeship 2 years ago to help progress my marketing career whilst working with Wiltshire Wealth Management. I’ve always been passionate about creativity and working with others, so a role in Marketing was perfect for me.
You began a Digital Marketer Apprenticeship at Wiltshire Wealth Management, how was the first 3 months?
The first 3 months of my Apprenticeship were brilliant, this time allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the marketing sector and I could begin to use my learning within my work, which had a positive impact on the business. I was excited to continue my apprenticeship to see where I could progress to.
How did your tutor support you throughout your Apprenticeship?
My tutor, Yasin, was brilliant throughout my apprenticeship. He was very knowledgeable and supportive of my learning, as well as understanding of my learning style. This meant we could work well together to get this most out of my learning and continue to boost my confidence.
What’s next for you now?
During my apprenticeship, I was promoted to head of my department, which was a great achievement for me and I have enjoyed this role as it has allowed my professional development to continue and I have had creative freedom within my company. This freedom has been great alongside my apprenticeship as I could use all my new skills in the workplace. Now, I am continuing in this role as Head of Marketing and I am excited to see what new marketing ideas I can bring to the business.
What would you say to anyone considering an Apprenticeship and using Pro Apprenticeships?
For those considering an apprenticeship, I would encourage people to go for it. It has been perfect for my learning style and for aiding my career progression. I have thoroughly enjoyed working whilst learning, and I felt that I learnt better as I could use my new skills in my work.
