Responsibilities

As a marketing apprentice you will support the leadership team in promoting care services through digital and traditional marketing strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands on experience in marketing while working towards a professional qualification. You will also be required to provide administrative support to meet the needs of the business.

Main duties:

 

  • Assist in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, linked in etc) by creating engaging content and scheduling posts.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns to attract new clients and staff.
  • Help design promotional materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters.
  • Update and maintain the company website with fresh content and news.
  • Assist in writing blog posts, case studies, success stories and newsletters.
  • Monitor social media and website analytics to track performance and suggest improvements.
  • Attend events, networking opportunities, community outreach activities to promote the company.
  • Support with email marketing campaigns and business development communications.
  • Assist in researching industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Complete Location Analysis for new business locations.
  • Assisting in the administrative tasks for recruiting and onboarding new staff.
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by the Senior Leadership Team

 

Person Specification

 

  • A passion for marketing and social media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and design tools (Canva, Adobe etc.).
  • GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths.

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as:

  • Audio and visual content
  • Content for social media
  • Copywriting and so much more.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Content Creator Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about:

  • Creation of audio and visual content
  • Blogging and written content
  • Creating content for social media
  • Designing engaging posts
  • Managing content online
  • Evaluating and testing the effectiveness of content
