Business Administrator Training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as project management, systems & processes, business structures and so much more.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Business Administrator Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021. They also boast the highest Ofsted rating, which only a select few training providers in the region have.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded business professional. You will learn in detail about business communication, organisation, managing change, problem solving & much more.

Full Time, Apprenticeship

Responsibilities

Working from a big, modern office space in Bristol & Bath Science Park, you will be mentored and trained by the Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.

 

Administration

  • Working across the operations team, supporting as and when required
  • Undertaking ‘front of house’ duties, collecting and welcoming visitors to the BBSP and those who wish to use CFMS facilities
  • Answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors, issuing visitor passes as/when required
  • Providing general clerical/admin support across the teams
  • Undertake routine administrative tasks
  • Managing internal and external enquiries and bookings for meeting rooms, liaising on all aspects of meeting room set up and requirements including facilities, room layout, catering, etc
  • General office duties, i.e. incoming/outgoing post, general housekeeping of kitchen/public areas
  • Administering procurement of office consumables/stationery
  • Managing company generic email, diverting enquiries, emails to appropriate teams/department
  • Supporting with office Health and Safety by carrying out Risk Assessments
  • Carrying out H&S Induction with students on work placements
  • Operating under the guidance of all policies and procedures and promoting an environment of continuous improvement

 

Marketing

  •  Conducting market and competitor research, presenting opportunities and risks
  •  Maintaining and updating the company website using the content management platform (WordPress) to ensure that all content is relevant and accurate
  •  Manage company social media channels, building the social media content schedule, creating captivating content relevant to our target audience(s), maximising reach, engagement and traffic
  •  Support with the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns and quarterly newsletters using the Mailchimp email system, including content research, design, testing and deployment through to reporting
  • Managing the internal content library, ensuring new content is available for staff to use
  •  Researching trends in technology/engineering and B2B marketing
