Who is this apprenticeship right for?

A SBP apprenticeship is ideal for individuals looking to take on a pivotal role in the management and administration of school operations. It is particularly suited for: aspiring school business professionals, current school administrators,  school staff with leadership aspirations and  experienced professionals looking for a career change – those from related fields (e.g. finance, administration, facilities management) who are interested in applying their skills in a school environment.
This apprenticeship is designed to provide the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours for those who want to play a vital role within the smooth operation of schools or multi academy trusts.

Employer Contribution

£300 for non-levy employers (Non-Levy contribution applies to employers with an annual wage bill of under £3m and enrolling apprentices that are aged 22 and above upon apprenticeship start date)

How will this be delivered?

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning to perform the duties of a School Business Professional and achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviour required for the role. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.
