Responsibilities

Supporting project managers and other key teams, you will learn a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Setting up jobs on the internal software system
  • Liaising with customers, keeping them informed of project timescales
  • Using the client portal
  • Answering calls and replying to emails
  • Arranging subcontractor visits
  • Ordering materials
  • Tracking progress and helping to ensure satisfactory project completion
  • Working with the estimating team on quotes
  • Adhoc project admin duties and assisting the project managers

Person Specification

  • Good PC skills and fluency with a range of PC packages
  • Ability to work to project targets and deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to a high level of accuracy
  • Good planning & organisational Skills
  • Confident communication skills (oral and written) (listening)
  • Good decision maker
  • Team working
  • Customer focused
  • Curious and not afraid to ask questions

Additional Information

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Associate Project Manager Level 4 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn and develop a vast range of skills, covering a range of topics, including:

  • Leadership
  • Project planning
  • Budgeting
  • How to set up contracts

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded project manager. You will learn in detail about business communication, organisation, managing change, problem solving & much more.
