Bobbi’s Marketing Story

So Bobbi, could you please start by introducing yourself?

Hi my name is Bobbi. I’m originally from Devon but have been living in Bristol for nearly four years now. I’ve always been drawn to creative industries, and marketing felt like the perfect way to channel that interest. Before starting my apprenticeship, I worked at SpiderGroup as a Marketing Assistant for a year and a half, managing both client-facing digital marketing and in-house marketing for the company. When the opportunity to take on a Marketing Executive Level 4 apprenticeship came up, I knew it was the perfect next step to progress my career.

You began a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship at SpiderGroup. How were the first three months?

There was some initial miscommunication during the enrollment process, but once I was assigned my tutor, everything started to fall into place. My tutor laid out a clear plan for the year ahead, which made it easy to understand what was expected and how to manage my workload. I also received great support and training on writing my monthly assignments, which really helped me settle into the programme and feel confident in the structure.

How did your tutor support you throughout your apprenticeship?

My tutor, Yasin, was incredibly supportive throughout the apprenticeship. He was always understanding, particularly when I faced challenges in the workplace, and adapted his approach to suit my learning style. Yasin was great at explaining things clearly and was always happy to answer any questions I had, creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. His guidance made a huge difference to my confidence and ability to succeed in this course.

You completed your apprenticeship at SpiderGroup – what’s next?

Since completing my apprenticeship, I’ve been promoted to Marketing Executive within SpiderGroup. It’s been so rewarding to see my hard work pay off and to take on new responsibilities in this role. I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned during the apprenticeship to help my company grow and achieve its goals. This promotion feels like the start of an exciting new chapter in my career.
