Introduction
Managers have a huge impact on their team and their organisation, shaping teams to be high performing and developing commercial opportunities for growth and success. Developing leadership skills will enhance your ability to empower, delegate, coach and motivate. This course will look at how best to navigate the changes in the working environment and the challenges that are faced.
Who is this apprenticeship right for?
Managers wishing to develop a deeper understanding of leadership and management and have line manager responsibility of a team of at least two people. This course will help you to enhance your management and leadership skills. Required is Maths and English G.C.S.E at grade 4 and above or functional skills level 2 (or be willing to gain this during apprenticeship)
Employer Contribution
£350 for non-levy employers (Non-Levy contribution applies to employers with an annual wage bill of under £3m and enrolling apprentices that are aged 22 and above upon apprenticeship start date)
How will this be delivered?
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning, online training sessions or face to face sessions. You will build a portfolio of work you have created to evidence your skills. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.

- Chairing meetings, negotiations, giving feedback and managing conflict

Project Management
- Continuous Improvement techniques and problem solving. Project planning, delivery and evaluation of projects.
End Point Assessment Practise
- Build and Finalise Portfolio and practise for the portfolio discussion.
- Identify and create project scope for EPA project. During EPA you will plan and start your project. This will culminate in a project report and presentation.
