Responsibilities

As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in customer service, warehouse and logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and develop skills in stock control, customer communication, and general operations support.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Assist in unloading shipping containers and organising stock in the warehouse.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimised.
  • Participate in regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Support coordination with couriers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Assist in booking and managing orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Help resolve any issues related to shipping and delivery.

Customer Communication:

  • Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.

General Operations:

  • Support the operations team with various tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in implementing operational improvements and best practices.

Person Specification

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn about warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Customer Service Training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as communication skills, understanding the organisation and customer experience.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Customer Service Level 2 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.
