Responsibilities

Barista Duties:

  • Learn to prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to a high standard.
  • Operate coffee machines and other equipment, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Assist in creating new drink recipes and seasonal specials.

 

Customer Service:

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers with their orders, offering product recommendations and information.
  • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

 

Cafe Operations:

  • Support daily operations, including setting up and closing down the cafe.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the cafe and farmshop.
  • Help with stocking shelves and managing inventory.

 

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service and operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and offerings.

 

Person Specification
  • Passionate about coffee, food, and customer service
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
  • Experience in hospitality would be a benefit

Customer Service Training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as communication skills, understanding the organisation and customer experience.
