The HR Support apprenticeship is designed for those starting out in an HR role or moving into people operations for the first time. Over 18 months, apprentices build the knowledge and confidence to handle real HR responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and policy compliance.
Apprentices gain hands-on experience advising managers, maintaining HR records, navigating employment legislation, and supporting the business through everyday people challenges. No prior HR experience is required.

Who is this apprenticeship right for?
This Level 3 HR Support Programme is ideal for those starting out in an HR role, whether a new hire joining a people team or an existing employee stepping into HR responsibilities for the first time. It suits anyone who wants a structured, funded route into a recognised HR career without needing prior qualifications or experience.
Employer Contribution
£225 for non-levy employers (Non-Levy contribution applies to employers with an annual wage bill of under £3m and enrolling apprentices that are aged 22 and above upon apprenticeship start date).
How will this be delivered?
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of work-based learning to perform the duties of an apprentice and achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviour required for the role. When ready to finish your apprenticeship, you will sit an end point assessment – but don’t worry you will have loads of support to prepare for this.
