Chasetown Civil Engineering are looking for an apprentice to support the smooth running of the plant department, in an efficient manner. What will you be doing?

Chasetown Civil Engineering are looking for a Business Administration apprentice to play an essential role of supporting their plant team and be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the correct procedures are followed when placing hired equipment on hire onto the system
  • Ensuring the correct procedures are followed when placing Plant Orders onto the system
  • Dealing with breakdowns when received from site, passing to Plant Manager if own equipment or external hire companies if damaged equipment is rehired.
  • Keeping a record of all damages, and sending to the Yard Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Sending weekly plant reports to Contracts Managers and updating when received back.
  • In absence of Plant Co-Ordinator Book Vac-Exc’s as and when requested from site.
  • Keep the supplier rates folder up to date, replacing copies as and when new rates are received.
  • Managing the live hire reports from hire companies to track hired plant and equipment. To check if they have no CCE equipment stood which could replace rehired equipment.
  • Ensuring the Company Insurance database is kept up to date by adding new vehicles and removing vehicles returned or sold. This will also include any road legal plant.Person Specification

Business Administrator Level 3 training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as project management, systems & processes, business structures and so much more.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Business Administration Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded business professional. You will learn in detail about business communication, organisation, managing change, problem-solving & much more.
